If you have access you could try the Sybase Software Download site.

Choose the Replication Server product and then search for Replication Manager for your OS version.

Looks like the last release of Replication Manager was SP100 back in June 2013. [You may need to adjust the search to read 'in the last 12 months' or 'in all months'.]

The README.txt file starts with:

=========================

Replication Manager 15.7.1 SP100 for Sybase Central

Replication Manager Plugin for Sybase Central provides administration and

monitoring features to manage Sybase replication environments.

The Replication Manager Plugin will support the following replication

products

  Replication Server Real-Time Loading Edition

  Replication Server Enterprise Edition

  Replication Server Heterogeneous Edition

... snip ...

Rep Agent support for MSSQL compressed tables

$

Hello,

I had a look at the the product compatibility page   but still can't firgure out whether MSSQL tables compressed tables are supported or not.

Any ideas ?

We've got a project in France that needs it bad.

Microsoft SQL Server

2012 as the primary database , 2008 R1 Service Pack 2, and 2008 R2 – Replication Agent does not support the features and datatypes introduced in Microsoft SQL Server 2008.

Note: Microsoft SQL Server 2005 and earlier versions are no longer supported. You must upgrade your primary database server to a supported version before migrating Replication Agent for Microsoft SQL Server instance(s). See the Certification Web site athttp://certification.sybase.com/ucr/search.do for detailed information on the supported versions.

Thanks.

Regards,

Remi.

CAN SAP Replication Server can be used to replicate data from a source SAP ECC system.

I was wondering if SAP Replication Server can be used to replicate data from a source SAP ECC system to an SAP Netweaver AS ABAP stack. The version of ECC is SAP ECC 6.0.

Here is more details on replication scenario...

SAP ECC with DB2 database, need to replicate specific table to SAP Netweaver AS ABAP with DB2 database (or SQL server database)

Where a Custom ABAP programs will translate the data for input into an interface with a custom system.

With the latest release SRS 15.7.1 SP200, SRS can replicate from Business Suite source to HANA target.  Non-HANA target is not supported in this release.

Hi,

PSMBFI_REP_RSSD is not online.

The error message related to H/W issue has been logged.

You should resolve H/W issue first.

Check if you have all permistions to devices files (for RSSD database on ASE) in d:\PSMBFI_REP\ and c:\prsdevice\

You can try move all files d:\PSMBFI_REP\PSMBFI_RSSD* and c:\prsdevice\PSMBFI_RSSD* to different folders and then move it back to the same source folders to check if you have read and write permissions

Check all files (when ASE is down):

D:\PSMBFI_REP\PSMBFI_RSSD_dat.dat

D:\PSMBFI_REP\PSMBFI_RSSD_data.dat

D:\PSMBFI_REP\PSMBFI_RSSD_log.dat

d:\PSMBFI_REP\PSMBFI_RSSD1_log.dat

d:\PSMBFI_REP\PSMBFI_RSSD2_log

c:\prsdevice\PSMBFI_RSSD3_log

c:\prsdevice\PSMBFI_RSSD4.log

You can use command to check your disk under OS:

chkdsk <volume drive letter> /r /f

There is also interesting similar problem for SQL Server that is run under VM ESX'i

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2519834

If your device files are corrupted you will have to use backup of RSSD database and then refresh
replication.

Hi Mohammed,

Please be sure you are using the SCC installation that is part of your ASE installation.

The SCC installed with Replication will only support DR Agent processing.

What error are you getting?

Stephen

Hi Mohammed,

The RSSD user name in a Business Suite environment is:

<rs_instance>_RSSD_prim

In your env, for the Primary site:

rs_instance             TSN_REP_sappr1

the user name would be:

TSN_REP_sappr1_RSSD_prim

The password is the same as the DR_admin password.

Yes, SCC is delivered with the ASE install.

FYI -

In a BusinessSuite environment, I think we are expecting customers will use DBACockpit to monitor and administer HADR Replication.   SCC can do basic monitoring, but is not HADR aware.

Regards,
Stephen

Hi Mohammad,

Stephen asked if I could take a look at your connection issue.

Based on your output above.

saprp1, replication_port        4905

saprp1, rssd_port 4906

saprp1, rs_hostname             saprp1

sappr1, rs_instance             TSN_REP_sappr1

The connection parameters should be:

Server Host Name - "saprp1"

Port Number - "4905"

RSSD Host Name - "saprp1"

Port Number - "4906"

RSSD Username - "TSN_REP_sappr1_RSSD_prim"

RSSD Password - <same as DR_admin password>

Please verify these parameters using ISQL first.

Keep in mind the sa user may have been locked by the SAP Installer.

HTH

Scott
