This is a new/different error from what you were receiving before. Are there any errors occurring at the same time in the repserver errorlog?
I'd check the rep agent configuration for accuracy; in particular I'd check 'rs servername' and 'rs username' for accuracy, and I'd go ahead and (re)set 'rs password' to make sure the rep agent has the correct password for logging into the repserver. I'd also use isql to verify that you do in fact have the correct login/password (rs username, rs password) for logging into the repserver (rs servername).
Also check that the ASE (where the rep agent is running) has the correct entry for the repserver in the ASE's interfaces/sql.ini file.
One last check would be to make sure the repserver has the associated database connection configured for log transfer. See 'rs_helpdb' and 'alter connection/set log transfer to on'. [NOTE: Enabling log transfer for this connection should've been performed by a successful run of rs_init - or successful 'switch active' if switching the direction of WS replication.]
