You mentioned that you periodically have to redo this configuration.
If the issue is resyncing the RDB (eg, it gets out of sync), you may want to take a look at the new resync features released with RS 15.6. These allow you to resync without the need to tear down and rebuild replication. Definitely makes resyncing (via dump-n-load) the RDB (for WS and MSA)!
